Rented clubs, set was mix and match. Course right in path of airport which turned out to be the highlight of the day. Ten straight one engine props took off, then we were shocked when a very modern (F series) fighter jet took off at about 500 feet from this "private" airport. The course was in fair shape, slightly less than average for this public course.

My group plays this course every Sunday, all year around. It is conveniently located for us and continues to challenge us each week. The staff at the course is very friendly and accomodating.

Bing has a reputation as just an OK muni, but right now the course is in outstanding condition. Many Sacramento area courses are having big troubles with their greens. Not Bing! Their greens were in the best condition I have ever seen them: freshly rolled, fast and true. The rest of the course was good, too. Plus, the Bing Maloney staff are always friendly and helpful. I was impressed. Two days earlier, my group played Darkhorse, an upscale course in Auburn. Today, we played Bing, a local muni. Go figure--Bing was in way better condition!
